2. The purpose and legal basis for processing

Personal data is collected and processed through the contact form to assess a prospective assignment, to contact the data subject and to agree on an assignment. Processing is necessary to conduct preparatory measures before the assignment and a precondition for assessing the prospective assignment and related contacting. The controller cannot assess the prospective assignment or agree on an assignment without sufficient information.

The controller processes the browsing data of website visitors for analytical purposes if the data subject has given his or her consent to such use. The cookies notice contains more specific information on cookies and the consent obtained to use them.

The controller does not process personal data for automated decision-making.

3. The categories of processed personal data

The controller may process the following categories of personal data:
- the name of the data subject;
- the contact information of the data subject;
- other information which the data subject has written on the contact form;
- traffic data of electronic communications, such as the IP address.

4. The source of the personal data

The personal data of the data subject has been received from the data subject himself or herself.

5. Retention period

The personal data collected through the contact form is processed until it has been decided whether an assignment will be initiated or whether it is necessary to contact the data subject, or until the data subject requests erasure of the data. The personal data will be stored for a maximum of six months.

6. Transfers of personal data and recipients

Personal data is obtained, stored and transferred only within the European Union. Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union or European Economic Area. The controller will not transfer personal data to third parties.

7. Data subject’s rights

The data subject has a right of access to the personal information processed by the controller and to receive a copy of the personal data or receive a confirmation that no personal data is processed. The data subject has the right to request rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object processing and request data portability. Fulfilling the requests of the data subject requires fulfilling the relevant preconditions.
Every data subject has the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, particularly in that EU member state where the data subject is habitually resident or is working in, or where the alleged infringement has happened, in cases the data subject views that personal data processing violates the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union. The Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman is the supervisory authority in Finland.
